Checking in 22-7-25

Hello,

Tuesday is always the busiest day of my week. Today is Tuesday, and it is even busier than usual.

I’ve got sessions (of psychoanalysis/psychotherapy) booked back to back all day long. Because I use the Lacanian practice of a variable-length session, some may end at points that give me a few small breaks throughout the day, but they won’t be the kind of breaks where I’ll have enough time to do much.

My hope is not to get buried in my email and other incoming messages (WhatsApp, Slack, voicemail, texts). If possible, I’d like to zero out my email, but the chances of that happening are slim.

I’ve got several things cooking in the background:

• Construction of the bibliography for the coming WAP congress in 2026. The theme of that congress is "The Sexual Non-Relation."
• I’m at the end of the beginning of the planning phase for the next Linking Seminar, which will be built around the theme of The Clinic at the Horizon of Subjectivity.
• Doing work to promote my new podcast, Subject of the Unconscious.
• Along those same lines, I’m learning a lot about how to build up my practice through marketing. (A topic I never thought I’d learn about.)
