I'm writing this one mid-day, right at the border of when AM becomes PM. Reason for this: A Friday with a full dance card of things and stuff that need my time and attention.
Before leaving the house, I saw my oldest kid was playing with toy tools. I asked him what he was doing and he told me he was pretending to fix things.
I told him that was cool.
Then, he asked me to get down on the floor with him, so I did that. He took one of his tools and started to put it on my head.
I asked him what he was doing.
He told me he was fixing my head.
Kids are remarkably intuitive, eh?
That is honestly all I've got time for today. Be that as it may, I did manage to sit down and write something for three days in a row. That's a small victory. That's reclaiming a bit of my time from the churn.
So, in closing, I'll say, whoever you are, wherever you are, whatever you're doing: Make glorious mistakes.
