Top of mind | Scale
I read the following via The Convivial Society newsletter.
One of the key principles of a convivial society: there is a scale appropriate to the human experience, and we do well to operate within it.
That’s so well put!
- “There is a scale appropriate to the human experience.” Yes!
- “We do well to operate within it.” This is also true, and it is stated in a simple, non-shaming, non-life-coachy way.
I’ve been thinking about how to live at the appropriate scale for so long, and after reading this, those thoughts moved to the top-of-mind position in my thought space.
