Also, I really love reading the disquiet blog. There is nothing like it on the internet.

I discovered it I don't know how long ago when I was looking for some info on Richard D. James (AKA Aphex Twin). As far as I'm concerned disquiet is a sort of online institution for people who enjoy ambient and electronic music, and the culture that exists around the producing/experiencing of those two musical styles.

Also, even though I'm a long time reader of disquiet, I got the screenshot above from Austin Kelon's blog.

Here is another bit from Kelon's blog that I think is spot on.

The trick is: I take the thing I’m disgusted with, imagine the opposite, and push that out into the world.

Maybe doing that sort of thing is also its own reward, eh?
